Where to put Google Adsense for the best Click Through Rate?

What are the best places are usually seen by readers and ensure higher click through on google adsense?

Should I put on top header, right column or under each articles on my blog?

The best place is under the post title - you can add banner 300x250. But sidebar banner ad really work. Larger ad units generate higher click rates. So far sidebar you should have ad space with 300x600 size.
