Hi all, today I have read an article that says that press release is no longer valuable. and that you have to make sure your pr only use nofollow for external links. is that totally correct. can we still benefit from press release or not.

It depends on your content. PR still work if the content is interesting to read and yes, most of the PR gives nofollow back links.

Google consider Press release links as paid links so make them nofollow.

Press release is still beneficial as it helps to drive traffic from high authority websites. Press release also helps to build traffic and generate sales for your business.

Press releases are the best way to get traffic from the relevant users. There are many sites which provide do follow link to your press release content. Some of them give them in the company profile or user bio. It can be a valid back link for a website. Most of the product releases, offer, update or any new news about your business can be made as a press release. Important thing in this strategy is that you have to submit in a high authority site.
