can you tell me some names of VPS or Dedicated web hosting companies you knew or you are using and you found it is the best options for you at this time

Well, I could give you that answer right now, but that would be cheating ;) What I recommend is looking for a Dedicated Server provider that can provide the following:

- 10Gbps Minimum DDoS Protection w/ Complete Firewall Control
- Remote KVM Access & Remote Reboot Port
- 99.9% Uptime Guarantee or Greater w/ SLA
- 24/7 Support by Support Ticket, Toll-Free & Live Chat
- Utilization of BGP Providers such as Level3 & nLayer with diverse peers.
- East-Coast USA Locations for better speeds to European Countries

There are a lot of providers that can offer these things to you, I recommend checking out the offers section of this Forum to start, maybe contact some of the hosts listed for more direct information to select an option that would suite your needs, maybe see about getting a discount or promotional pricing.

Are you looking for managed or unmanaged?

If you are looking for some unmanaged premium servers take a look at
- Peer1
- Singlehop
- rackspace
- Wiredtree
- MDDhosting

For none premium - cheap servers
- OVH
- Limestone

My recommendation
- Look at your budget to determine premium or budget/cheap server or vps
- Research the companies
- Do not hesitate to contact them with any questions. This will give you a feel on communication.
- Check out their interactions with clients here and at other communities. This will also help you with experiences from others.
- Attempt not to make your decision solely on pricing. Remember you get what your pay for.
- Check out what Datacenter they are hosting your server @. This will allow you to see if you will put on a premium Datacenter if that is what they are offering and/or pricing reflects this.

Just curious, but in what way are Limestone and OVH in the same category? I would choose Limestone Networks over OVH and almost every other provider you mentioned. I have used their dedicated servers and they use good hardware, have an awesome network, and provide the fastest support I have ever experienced. Just my experience, though. Would be interested to hear your thoughts!

I could say otherwise about your statement of OVH being a Non-Premium provider;
OVH North America is considered to be a Premium Provider; the only thing they lack would be Support as they are a completely unmanaged provider and only offer Hardware/Network support and 0 Software Support.

You must be thinking of Kimsufi/SYS; both are OVH's Budget Low-End providers.

Are you looking for managed or unmanaged?

If you are looking for some unmanaged premium servers take a look at
- Peer1
- Singlehop
- rackspace
- Wiredtree
- MDDhosting

For none premium - cheap servers
- OVH
- Limestone

OVH is definitely unmanaged that's clear so can't expect any service in regards help with your server or vps from them.

Unfortunately with the cheap prices, they have cut corners in the overall service (not related to assistance with managing the server) from having blacklisted IPs, billing is crap as you get constantly flagged if you make a payment from another location not even different country but province, failing hardware is handled very randomly, delays on answering to anything, etc...

Don't get me wrong OVH is ok and as long as you know what you are doing you will get good up-time. The moment stuff hits the fan though, it's a headache to deal with and their pricing reflects such at this point. Yes OVH is much better than Kimsufi which in my opinion it's past below a low budget provider great for a personal site but nothing more IMO.

OVH cannot be compared to what you get from providers such as Singlehop or peer1 which are also un-managed (option to go managed if needed). It is more money but worth the piece of mind that can and will indirectly transpire down the ladder.

Is there a certain location you want the hosting company to be located?
