what is the difference and which is better if comparing between the mobile sites vs mobile apps as upcoming trends and why ?

Ask an android application developers regarding the future scope of both responsive websites and Mobile applications, he will tell that there is an immense growth for the mobile apps and huge growth for the mobile friendly responsive web pages.

Because mobile apps design, development and maintenance is costly and it will take more time.
We can create Responsive Websites in less cost, less time and using less man power. And updates will be deployed quickly, because server will be in our control. In order deploy one app update, the app store has to test and verify it. Any app store Google playstore, Apple store, windows etc., first they do testing and then only update it.

For ecommerce, financial, banks, games, news portals are better to implement in mobile app format. Information based and simple websites better to go for responsive.
