Focus on the one thing that you will be able to get the most bang for the effort of acquiring it.
Usually, this means to focus on building an email list.
Why?
Because of the following:
You spend 16 hours a day using free methods to get 100 visitors to your landing page
With Email Capture Method - you get 10 Sign-ups -VS- Send Direct to Your "Internet Business" - You get 100 visitors and if immensely lucky 1 sale (also = 1 email)
So where do you stand?
By building an email list in your Internet Business's niche you now have 10 leads that are interested in your niche who are willing to receive your emails with more information and opportunities for them to buy your "products" over and over again. Plus once they buy your product or service, you can still keep emailing them other related offers and make more money from that list.
By sending them direct to your website business, you only made one sale and you don't have anything else to build with - you'll have to keep chugging away (16 hours a day) to drum up another sale. This is not efficient at all.
In my opinion, an Internet Marketer must become an email list building expert first and the online world will bare itself open to him or her.
