You need to think more broadly. Google (and the other search engines) like content that provides relevant and up-to-date content to the end user, based on what the user is search for. That's what keeps them coming back for more and why Google is always updating its algorithm -- to improve the user experience. If Google stopped delivering what users wanted, they'd go somewhere else. This means things like Google's ad revenue (how Google makes most its money) would decrease drastically. Google aint about to let that happen.Do you guys know what kind of content Google likes? why?

You mean Google like long and relevant content?Google isn't there to prefer one type of post over another. Their whole purpose is to provide relevant search results when someone is searching for something. At the end of the day it don't matter what content it is as long as its relevant.
Agree useful content is always a plus with Google.Google likes satisfying information of content that is very useful to the users. They want positive reputation on websites from user experience.
I am not sure this could happen.Google attract the content of type as Info-graphic, Videos, Guides, Book reviews, Link pages, ebook, Podcast & Research and original data
Yeh everyone prefer reading long posts (2000-2500 words) but not sure Google will like it or not.Google loves blogs like wordpress because they have simplified things for google (every site looks about the same on the backend)
They also like unique and detailed content. I have found that 2000-2500 words if the best number.
Just make sure your keywords and tittles are done right and based on research.
Almost blogs that getting high rankings on Google search result came from wordpress. why you think Google does not love blogs.Misinformed and incorrect. Google does not give a rip about Wordpress. Google does not love blogs. Google could care less.
But this is aspect of users.Google like content that adds value to the viewer and that answers their queries.
Google said it themselves;
"Our goal is to get visitors to the answer they’re looking for faster, creating a nearly seamless connection between the visitor and the knowledge they seek"
Provide people with the information they seek and you will rank highly..
But write for users, thats ok but it doesn't have any advantage to help your content better on search engines.The content which is liked by your user can also liked by Google as well. According to me do not create content for google. Create content for your users, which provides them relevant and useful information.
I think Guides are good.Here is what google loves
=> Lengthy Content focused on Long tail keywords.
=> How to Content (Blog Post and Guide).
In this year, the average length of first page ranking websites are around 1200 words. So it is a clear indication that lengthy content rank well. So if anything lengthy, informative and SEO optimized, it will have better rank. It can be blog post, landing page or anything else.
Both off-page and on page seo didn't relate to kine of content that google likes.Almost unique content and white hat both off-page and on page seo google likes.
