My lists are usually organized into 3 main categories:
Buyers (High Ticket and Cheapies alike)
Window Shoppers (buy occassionally)
Freebie Seekers
I NEVER remove anyone because just because they
do not buy themselves. Who's to say they are not
telling their friends (I know, slim chance, but you
never know).
Also, I know many of my subscribers actually enjoy many
of my emails, even though they aren't buying anything.
When they subscribed, it was because I promised to
send them reliable, valuable information, and that's what
I intend to do. There was no stipulation on my subscribe
form saying that they had to buy something to remain
a subscriber, so, why should that be a requirement now?
Actually, let me revise that statement. There is only
1 type of people who get unsubscribed automatically.
Those who have not even OPENED any of my messages
in more than 1 month. Since I send out 4 - 5 emails per
week, "I" think it is safe to assume that 0 opens means
they either aren't getting my emails, or they really aren't
interested. In either case, why waste the space?
People always ask me "why keep freebie seekers"? And
the answer is quite simple. I have accounts with many
PTD sites, so, when I have something I am offering for
free, I send the "freebie seekers" a download link using
the PTD link. For those who do not know, by PTD I mean
Pay to Download.
Every time someone downloads one of my files using one of
my "paid to download" links, I make a few cents... No, I am
not going to retire from them alone, but, I actually make $40
to $50 per month just from those site links alone.
So, when someone asks me "why keep freebie seekers if you're
not making money off of them"... the answer is simply, I DO, lol.
