Some people are talking about how difficult it is to post every day...
I want to introduce you to the power of "the habit".
When you make something a habit, it becomes easy, because you don't even have to think about it; you just do it.
There are thousands of books written on the subject, but some quick tips:
1. Try and do it at roughly the same time every day if you can. This'll make it easier.
2. A habit is formed after about 21 consecutive days usually, but sometimes it can take up to 90 days. The point is,
don't miss a day. And if you do, just start again!
3. If you think it takes a long time, it's because it probably does. BUT! The more often you do it, especially if you do it everyday, the learning process is accelerated and you will get faster.
4. The power of the habit comes from the
increased ease as well as
the power of the compound effect and consistency.
5. You can try using a calendar or spreadsheet to tick off each day you write your blog post, and this will help with the reward system in your brain, as well as accountability.
6. Speaking of accountability, why not team up with someone also looking to start writing daily? Then you can hold each other accountable, making the process easier and more effective. You could even share each other's content every now and again!
7. One final point: People think doing it every day is tough because they don't stick it out. The first 3 days feel impossible, the next 7 days are unbearable, but after 21 days you are
UNSTOPPABLE. Keep going, and just remember that you've come too far to quit now. If you're on day 4 and you quit, you'll have to go through that pain again... But if you keep going, you'll be unstoppable in a short 3 weeks time.
OH and as added motivation you could increase your traffic by sharing/posting your blog posts on forums where they'll help the demographic there.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
