Which location do you prefer for a VPS in USA?

I am looking in VPS hosting but when choosing a VPS, the providers are offering me too many locations, I don't know what location should I choose for better audience and SEO

Here's some examples I got them in hosting cart

Los Angeles
Seattle
Phoenix
Dallas
Chicago
Miami
New Jersey

In your personal opinion, which location do you prefer for a VPS in USA?

This option should be decide by yourself, where you prefer. And also check with the host, as different locations will be on different datacenter. And different datacenter using different upstream carrier.

Choose the location that's closer to where you think most of your users will come from. Other than that, it's not that important really. But talking to the provider and asking which is the best equipped location, i would go with the one they recommend. Unless you're hosting something that really relies on fast ping, then you should be alright going with any location, doesn't really affect it as much as you think now a days
