Backlink velocity

I would like to have your opinion about backlink velocity for a new domain.
Do you think a new domain can receive a lot of backlinks from other websites without any risk from Google ?

Yes I'm sure about it. Why would Google punish a new site for going viral? That's stupid.

Now if they are all really shitty links, it doesn't matter if you build them fast or slow. You are going to run into problems.

Building quality backlinks should be the main priority, not achieving a high link velocity. If you do so then definitely there would be some bad result.

Back link Velocity:

Back link velocity means, the growth of number of backlinks for a website, it may be in increasing order or in decreasing order. It will be measured as number of back links per month or number of linking domains per month. It can be treated as showing one's interest towards the website.

Link velocity can be in increasing order or in decreasing order. If the velocity increases, the search engine considers that website and allocates a high rank.Otherwise the search engine won't consider that website.

Creating huge amount of backlinks in short period, will make you in trouble. Having quality backlinks is matters.
