AdSense or affiliate marketing, which is the best way to make money from home. Today earning from adsense is more difficult while you have to follow strict rules from adsense to void banning your account and waiting for adsense ads get more clicks then affiliate marketing is a good source to earn money online. What do you guys think?

Both are good depending on the niche you use. I wouldn't say that AdSense is difficult but that also depends on what kind of content you're promoting.

..But that brings me to this question: Why not both?

That's something you need to figure out on your own with A/B Testing.

But, it's hard to beat recurring revenue from an affiliate program, build that up and you'll never look back.

Affiliate marketing gives you a lot more choices and allows you to customize your surfers experience.

You really have no control over Adsense. Also if you get banned, your income stops completely. With affiliate programs you can always have backups ready to go if something happens.

My vote will always be for affiliate marketing. You can make a lot more money and you maintain control.

I put in another vote for affiliate marketing. You have so many more options and as Rob already said, YOU set up and control the ads. Controlling the advertising is the biggest reason. With adsense your stuck with what they serve. And as already mentioned, there are SO many rules and terms for adsense. Doesn't take much to get rejected or your account closed. It's like it's ruled with an iron fist. Seems like it anyways.

Plus there is an almost endless supply of products you can promote as an affiliate. Well, depending on the niche. But for something like Internet Marketing, look how much is on JVzoo, clickbank, Warrior+. You won't have enough time in th day to promote everything there is.

Just as important, with adsense you put all your eggs in one greedy basket. With affiliate marketing, you can have multiple, multiple, multiple products and income streams.

Seems like this question comes up quite often.

Google Adsense click charges for each one, each amount to little click, click, including whether or not to buy products. Affiliate also charged according to the click does not have to buy product? If there are 100 people in one day click, of which only one person decides to buy a product or in a single day only 1 person clicks but people still buy the product that it remains so. So ultimately, both the 2 methods of making money above are the pros and cons of it, if you can combine the two, it is also a smart choice.

If you feel that building a website can be a massive traffic to have a good income source from Google Adsense is too difficult, then build relationships and create trust for a small amount of readers to easily have been a source of income from the marketing. When readers trust you, they will seriously listen to the advice of your sincerity, they are willing to buy and use the products and services you recommend.

Adsense is a great choice if you are completely newbie. While Affiliate marketing gives your residual income from your blog. But you have to implement right strategies to make money from affiliate marketing. Your past experience in product promotion can help you to succeed with affiliate marketing. Today most of the pro bloggers are making huge money from affiliate marketing. Today most of the users are using Ad blockers to block ads. So, it is quite challenging to make money from Adsense like programs. But in affiliate marketing your write a review and insert links in your post which is not blocked by any ad blockers. So, according to me affiliate marketing is a great way to make money from your blog.

Someone said - WHY not both? I have to agree with that.

In addition, there are many other similar revenue sharing programs such as adsense, so even if you were to get banned, you do have backups.

Just to name few:

content.ad

taboola.com

outbrain.com

revcontent.com

Both work, but of course... in the end it comes down to what you are comfortable with!

Affiliate marketing definitely gives you more freedom and choices. Also affiliate marketing has more potential to pay out more once you understand Affiliate Marketing. Adsense pay less and you have to follow many rules. I personally do affiliate Marketing and I really enjoy doing it.

These days I would always choose affiliate marketing over AdSense because there is much more potential to earn good money over Adsense in most cases.

Using affiliate marketing you could make a big commission off of just one click (followed by a sale/purchase/sign-up/whatever) and with AdSense you need a whole lot more clicks to make a decent amount of money.

Adsense used to be very lucrative in the past but these days it's usually a lot easier to make good money with affiliate marketing. ;)

Affiliate marketing is best if you're just starting out, since depending on what you're marketing you can make $100 off a handful of sales. Adsense is good if you are getting a lot of traffic. Like 5000 uniques a day at least, because you don't make much off the clicks. Plus, you have to make $100 with Adsense before you can get a payout, and that can a very long time if you're not getting a ton of traffic.

Adsense ads is easier to manage compared to CPA since everything is automated.
Just need to setup placement and you are good to go.

Affiliate marketing is the best way to monetize if you are really into optimizing things.
And you have free passes to experiment on creative if you want to push for extra clicks.

Both are really good. I make a living from both. For starters, have a blog and right reviews about hot topic niche products that are new, not old and have been around for a while. And within your blog posts add Google Adsense ads within. Therefore if the visitor doesn't purchase any thing from your affiliate link, then they might click on the related ad on your page. And if nothing, that's then a view. Usually you get about $0.05 per 1000 views, something like that.

Both systems have their own different functionality for generating revenues. If you want to earn commissions from sales then Amazon is the right option. If you own a blog and want to put ads on it to generate money from user clicks then Adsense is the better option.

AdSense or affiliate marketing, which is the best way to make money from home.
With 100 daily readers, you are almost naught with Adsense except your niche pays high per click. But with same number of visitors, you can do better with affiliate marketing.

If you promote products that pay recurring income, you see how you can scale and make even more money. Adsense income will stop immediately you stop promoting. But affiliate earnings may keep coming in from old sales anytime.
