What is Google penguin 4.0? and how it's differ from other older version of penguin?

Hello Guys,

before few day ago, I was read about updates of google's algorithm penguin. so I am quite confusing related like what's new in google penguin 4.0. and tell me how it differs from penguin 1.0-3x

Penguin 4.0 is now a part of Google core algorithm and run in real time. The site which have low quality and spam backlinks will get hit by this update. A similar thread created in this forum.
