Money from Facebook

I have seen a lot of people say that we can make money out of facebook by taking a portion of the huge traffic here to our website. However, I haven't yet seen an example of it yet . As a social networking site, it helps you to make friends but not money. I just wanted to know if anyone over here has proof that the a major portion of the traffic, which they receive, are from facebook?

Did you notice when the original question was asked? 2013. Long long ago. The question is most likely not relevant to the OP anymore. Just watch that you are responding to current threads and not blasts from the past threads.
