I have a question for the group

One of the issues that I have faced with my domain is a drop in ranking over the past 6-9 months. My traffic is solid, stable and is not dropping; however my ranking has. One part I have started to solve with making the site https:

However, one is with SEO. I am torn about the right way of handling this. I have discussed with GoDaddy to help with building this out over the the next 6 months, but the costs at this point is prohibitive (thus part of the reasons for looking at other ways of generating income from the site). My question is have any of you used a 3rd party, if so, what was the results. If you do it on your own, are there strategies that you used to make it a success.

hope the question makes sense

I'm not sure I understand what you were saying in your post, but you were talking to GoDaddy about them doing SEO for you? Don't ever, ever do that. They don't actually do SEO. They do dumb crap like "submit your site to search engines" and call that SEO.

Avoid GoDaddy for anything other than registering domains. They are terrible with hosting and completely useless for SEO.

I don't understand your question, which made your site rankings dropped? You need to remember what you did on your site cause losing rankings.
Move a site from http to https will not help your ranking back and it will not solve this problem.

GoDaddy doesn't do SEO, they only sell domain names and it's thing you can buy from them.

My question is have any of you used a 3rd party, if so, what was the results. If you do it on your own, are there strategies that you used to make it a success.

What is the 3rd party service you are talking to? SEO services?
