How to use Google to find all websites hosted on Wordpress start with xxx.wordpress.com?
I'm familiar with using normal search in Google, I don't know there is an advanced search method can help me find sites in a network on Blogspot or Wordpress

Just use the inurl: search feature.

Generate a gigantic list of keywords and use something like Scrapebox.

You won't get them all, but you will get a lot of them.

Got it, but i think that if a site have on it's source page WP-Engine, it means that it's hosted on WP no?

Last I checked WP Engine was its own hosting company that preys on people's ignorance telling them they are specially designed and optimized for Wordpress while charging 10 times as much as other reliable hosts.

So no, they are not hosted at Wordpress.com.

Obviously this will only find keyword in URLs of a domain, not at all.

It likes using site:example.com or allinurl: blog/keyword site:example.com

If you are wanting to search all sub domains from a website, a social network or a blog network as Wordpress, Bloggers, Facebook, Google...etc

Using this code on Google

site:wordpress.com -inurl:www -inurl:webmastersun -inurl:some-sub-domain-name-you-do-not-want-to-see-here -inurl:anyname

For example, I tried to search to find sub domains of Wordpress.com

-inurl:www -inurl:webmastersun

www or webmastersun mean you don't want to see webmastersun it they have a sub domain name on Worppress.com and it will not add www before sub domain from your search results.

Try a test with Facebook

site:facebook.com -inurl:www -inurl:webmastersun

Interesting results!?!?

Yes, but Google will not show you all of the results. Looking at the example you posted above, it says there are 170,000 results, but Google will only let me go to page 21 (210 results).

That's why you mix the search result up with 50,000 or so keywords in a tool like Scrapebox. It will repeat the same search adding one of those keywords each time.

You will get far more URLs that way.

This code is useful and I could find out all sub domain or websites that were hosted on Wordpress or other sites.
I know about inurl but I don't know why it has parameter "-" before inurl to help searching all sites that being hosted as a sub domain.
Seem Google didn't declare using these codes.

You could not familiar with using codes in searching somethings
If we want to see more, maybe need using codes with API to get more results on result pages of Google.

And page 57 is only 570 results.

Again, this is why you use something like Scrapebox and a huge keyword list. There is no other way you will get more than 1000 results.

For searching keywords on Google, I only care results in page 1 to page 5/10. I don't have many reasons to find all results with Google, maybe it is useful for SEO tools or auto tools.
And as said, it is possible to get all results from Google using API which they could allow that so that other tools like Scrapebox could use and get more result pages with Google or other search engines.

Sure, most people don't. But the OP was looking for all of them.

I'm not positive that Google allows that even with the API. I do know that they charge something like $5 per 1000 queries. Not sure if each page is considered a query, but if it is, and the search result has a few million results, that could get expensive.
