I use Stripe, and I know what you mean. What I do is set it for a 1-month payment, so I can get paid at the end of every month. Which I find great. That means all the payments build up throughout the month, so they send me a big payment at the end
Another thing I wanted to add. Stripe and many other credit card processors do this in the case of refunds or fraudulent transactions from the buyer. You might be asking, why doesn't PayPal do this? Well, PayPal has a totally different system set up. By you still don't get paid instantly into your bank account via PayPal.
