If I'm ambitious and know my website gonna scale quickly, which of this two languages is going to handle tons of users, Paython or PHP?
If neither, please let me know.

They both will. The number of users a script can handle is more based on the server resources available. Of course this is barring any bad programming methods that can cause slow downs.

Personally I would go with PHP. It's more widely used and easily supported by servers.

I have read the article, and I have found that the most tempting language there is Ruby, but I'll stick with PHP or Python for now, for Ruby has limited support. I also use Python with Apple Script to automate some stuff.
