PayPal Processing Alternatives for WP Site?

Not that a website shouldn't accept PayPal, I would want to know how to process this with either some "elbow grease" or other services alternative to PayPal.

This is probably best put in another section, and I can follow up with a link between these two threads, but I was also wondering how might one manage a client login for a WP website, one that they access as a members only dashboard upon paying.

I'm sure there are plugins that help with this too.

You can always get a merchant account and use a gateway. If you have a good banking relationship with your local bank, they can usually offer pretty good rates for merchant services.
