hey fellow webmasters.
To make some paid templates and addons for cms driven websites working, buyers need sometimes a passcode. Otherwise the template is useless. I'm interested by this functionality, but i have no idea where to start. I'm using php/javascript/css/html. Can someone point me in the right direction ? I have some addons and also websites for demo purpose, but i need to protect them. The password protection i'm looking for is the kind used by modules and templates sellers. So they can ensure the buyer has paid the addon and/or don't use it more than once. The passcode is needed only once for activation. Then the addon/website or template is accessible for everyone. The target cms are wordpress, joomla, magento but the function is everywhere the same.
Any ideas, someone ?
