If you are losing keywords in your SERPS check that your URLs are still indexed - manually in the search console.
A month ago i noticed a drop in the number of keywords i rank for, i figured it's normal, but this month my number of keywords fell by ~70%...
It turned out a couple of my pages got deindexed. Surprisingly submitting a site map did not fix the issue, instead i had to manually request reindexing of the affected urls.
The worst part is i did not notice any drop in indexed pages on the google's dashboard :ranting_w:
Plus i had to track down the deindexed urls manually.
Looking back this issue coincided with a WP update, so i assume it has something to do with the sitemap plugins.
If anyone knows if there was a known bug please do tell
