Specialize in local hosting. Get out and start offering hosting to your local businesses. Give them the type of service they can't get from the run of the mill mass hosting company.

Simply I'd give example Jeff Bezos, Amazon's CEO and founder, recently told the US magazine Wired: "There are two ways to build a successful company. One is to work very, very hard to convince customers to pay high margins. The other is to work very very hard to be able to afford to offer customers low margins."

Figure out the direction you want your company to go in. Then make a business plan and stick to it.

You can use Banner Advertisement and post your website plan on the forum. From the forum, you can get some lead for your sales.

none of above works!

Price is always the first factor!

so:
1: Create low end hosting for low end usage, check LEB
2: Affiliate network, high pay rate will attract many reviews
3: SEO, just teach people how to build website, how to seo and how to get traffic
4: Local service, provide hosting + website building service

Have a professional landing page and run PPC ads, targeting the right audience. It's actually not that hard if you have money to spare for advertising. It's also worth focusing on a local market, as advertising will be cheaper and you'll be able to work directly with companies in your area.

Try to partner with web agencies who need to buy web hosting for their clients' websites. Get creative, as its a very populated niche and there are more 'reputable' hosting companies than I can even name.

If it wasn't a marketing forum i would say industry is full and question what are you presently doing to bring business to the table? Besides offering incentives to referrals and resellers there are reasons why people willhost with you. If you have webmasters which are creating websites to sell you will be gifted more business. If they sell site they sell your hosting. If your not working your business plan you have no plan at all which can work i wing it all the time. I understand this business as ran hosting and connections but if not offering dedicated connections or hosting your reselling etc and your not really in business of selling bandwidth. Price will just kill everything with what others are offering. Without added services it is difficult as some of my hosting includes seo tools

If you want to increase sales right now, focus on conversions or (relevant) traffic. If you want to increase sales online in the long run, focus on loyalty.

1. Banner Advertisements

This is a highly used method to advertise a business. Contact bloggers (or) website owners and offer them some price to place banner ads on their blog sidebar or in the header area where people like to click more.

2. Publish Guest Posts

Most of the SEO experts are preferring this type of promotion rather than paying money for spammy directory submission and buying sidebar links.

3.Testimonial Review From Customers

If you got a decent amount of users for your hosting company then ask them to write a testimonial review in their blog or make them place banner ads in their blog sidebar or in the header section.

4. Setup PPC – Per Click Campaign

Create a list of long-tail converting keywords about your hosting industry and kick-start a PPC campaign using Google AdWords. The key in creating a PPC campaign is choosing the right converting keywords and making the title clickable by the users because the hosting industry is much crowded and competitive one so to withstand this competition you must do something different from others.
