Old pages indexed in Google

Hi all!

Own an online store, we recently changed the structure imiplicit platform and internal links.
Now get 404 errors in GWT old pages.
I had prestashop which has indexed many links elsewhere, for those receiving 404 errors
For the rest of the sitemap we did 301 redirects and new pages are indexed.
For the rest of what I do to remove them as quickly from Google's index.

I look forward idea suggestions from people who have encountered such problems.

Google will take the time to deindex old links. But still some time in GWT under the HTML Improvement it will show you duplicate meta and title errors. Just ignore them.

I think you should resubmit your xml site map with new urls. Try to remove old pages from Google with the help of Google webmaster tools

Of course, it takes time, when your new content is indexed then it would show in Google search so you have to wait for this.

If the content has moved permanently, then a 301 response is the correct thing to do (and point it to the new location, not a generic point); If the content has gone forever, you should use the 410 response which means "Gone". Of course, where there is an alternate, you can use a 303 response (along with the URL to the alternate) which can be worthwhile when there isn't an exact match.
