Google Adwords, (PPC) Campaign does not influence the Keywords Ranking of anyone's Website. SEO is the process through which Keywords Ranking can be improved.

Google Adwords are paid ads campaign on Google when the balance for Campaign ends, the ads are nowhere in Google.

Not only, Google but also Yahoo, Bing, Facebook has started with Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign for your business website to be listed.

Yes, it is true that Google Adwords doesn't help directly in SEO but it gives traffic and traffic is also one element of SEO.

Google AdWords are paid campaign, so it doesn't really contribute to your ranking.
For search ranking, you need organic SEO like good content, good internal and external links and tons of quality backlinks.

Google adword and rankings are two very different things in fact Google adword is the way of advertising your website on Google through paying program, you pay Google to advertise your website.
Ranking is gained after the proper optimization of your website.
