Advice for PPC campaign?

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Pay Per click world and will be thankful if can get some market and keyword analysis advice from you all. There are many genuine keywords with nill international and regional queries in my focus on audience. To shall I target them? And also shall I go with the Broad Match Modifiers or Phrase Match or Exact Match?
