SEO Strategy changes time to time according to Google and all other search engine update, so we can say a strategy is a temporary, it will change and we have to update it time to time.

I believe the best strategy would be working on social media websites, its a sure way to obtain natural links.

There are MANY different strategies). I use this one.
1. order full audit (to get idea what SEO you lack and if your site has some black hat tricks on it) and competitors analysis (to get idea what SEP your rivals successfully do)
2. concentrate on unique content -- generate it or buy; try to make it viral (if possible).
3. attract social traffic -- it is influencing SERP indeirectly
4. attache your Google+ community to your site, this`ll give you a small bonus in
SERP
5. add a blog to your site and update it weekly with unique articles; link every article to author`s [your?] personal Google+ account.
6. order some promo video or testimonials on Fiverr; ask actors to pronounce your keywords (1-2, no more) clearly and loud enough (dont duplicate them).
7. Be patient and wait. Chasin after quick ways to promote your site leads to cheap black hat tricks and Google`s penalties.
8. Think more of traffic (social traffic) and how many people ask Google about you. Not about buying lots of artificial links.
