Google’s updates like Helpful Content and E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) have definitely shaken things up. For many, it’s meant focusing even more on creating high-quality, user-focused content rather than just trying to please search engines with keywords or backlinks.

If your content genuinely helps users and shows expertise, you’re probably seeing positive changes in rankings and traffic. But if you were relying on outdated SEO tricks or thin content, you might have noticed a drop. The key now is to make sure your content is not just relevant but also trustworthy and valuable, backed by real expertise. It’s all about building credibility and being useful to the audience.

I agree! Those who adapt to this approach will definitely see long-term benefits, while those stuck in old tactics may continue to struggle.
I wonder if anyone here noticed any significant changes in their traffic or rankings since these updates?

With spam links, the site that was in the top 5 only dropped 2-3 places. I don't know how big a change this is. But I think it affected the existing serp results by less than 2%.

Google’s recent algorithm updates, like the Helpful Content and E-E-A-T updates, are reshaping SEO strategies.
How have these changes affected your website rankings and traffic?
I have definitely noticed the impact of Google's latest update on my website. Updating helpful content encourages me to focus on creating more valuable and user-focused content. It improves engagement. E-E-A-T's principles inspire me to build more authority and credibility. This leads to better rankings. Overall, I've seen positive changes in traffic and rankings. But continuous effort to adapt is required!

These updates have definitely shaken things up.
For my sites, I’ve noticed that those with content written with some expertise or by people with actual experience are doing better. Traffic and rankings have improved on pages where we focused on quality and answering user intent.
On the flip side, sites or pages that were more focused on just hitting the keywords or had thinner content took a hit.

I’ve seen an increase in organic traffic for pages that truly address user intent. It’s a reminder that prioritizing user experience is more crucial than ever in our SEO strategies)
