A survey recently conducted by WordPress summarized a report as 460,000,000 WordPress downloads has been done in last twelve months. Reports also states, 18.9% of website all over the world using WordPress, which was 2.2% higher than previous year 2012. And also found an interesting fact that, 7% of WordPress was used for application platform, which aims to be emphasized in upcoming releases 3.7 and 3.8. The recent release of WordPress 3.6 called as ‘Oscar’, enhanced the features in the content for both user and developer. We can expect the release of WordPress 3.7 by this October 2013 and WordPress 3.8 expected in December 2013 with latest MP6.
