natural link building is that hardest thing unless your an amazing writer or you have some product/service that is amazing and people love it right off the bat. to start off natural link building you need to let people know about you and this can be done through forums, blogs etc but you first need to get at least 1 link from some-place (be it follow or no follow) then you can consider building natural links. Editorials and articles are also a good place to find links but are they natural? I am not so sure in the modern climate.
