How to get Google+ followers 2014

I tried to create a profile on google+ and applied some ways to hope my Google+ page will have more followers but honestly it's not my expectation.

Are there any ways to increase Google+ followers for 2014??. Please suggest..

G+ authorship is actually one of the best thing that Google implement 2014. It's fun, easy and will be the base of SEO. Just spend enough time there like you are doing on any other social platform. They did a very smart action by creating G+. They don't have yet the authority of Facebook, but the effects are much better.
