Best would be a WordPress blog which you run on a hosting account and your own domain name. In this case you will be in full control of the whole process - where to place Adsense ads and all the rest. This is possible because WordPress is a very flexible and customisable blogging system while the other platforms are not that much and that might put restrictions on your earnings potential.

That is good answer to his question, I use WordPress for all of my websites or just HTML but only used Blogger one time because I didn't like the layout. BUT I think Blogger comes with many different themes that you can download and use, just like WordPress but just not more than you can find with WordPress.
