When will Google update Pagerank in 2014?
I heard people said it will be updated on October in 2014, is it exact?

I suppose that Google will do it end of this year, the same with last year. About November or December 2014.

Well in this matter no body tell you the exact date and time of PageRank update. Even no body tell you the exact month. Google is never ever gives advance notice of any algorithmic update.

May be Google will not give any PR update in this year. I can remember Matt Cutts tweet after last years page rank update. He told that, Google will not give any more PR update, it was an accident happened while they were updating an algorithm update.

Page Rank is a relic of the past and will not be updated any longer... In addition PR should never be used in isolation to assess a websites authority and trust metrics. G will never reveal that openly and as such PR has only ever been a smokescreen... I've seen high ranking PR sites which are legitimate (as it is also easy to fake PR) which carry little or no traffic... You need to look at other metrics as well as backlinking profile and authority of those sites which provide those links.... So the quicker you forget PR the better you'll be for it!
