Web content is the reason that people come to your Web pages. And if there are designs and interactivity but you don't supply your web page with high-quality content they will leave. So there are small tips for writing persuasive Web Content that I would like to share with you:
1) The first one and the most important to my mind is writing easy content so that the users would be able to get a quick impression of what's it about. Don't write long sentences, people don't read word for word. This is a big mistake. People are tend to scan brief information and ignore the rest. Write short and direct sentences.
2) Make your web page trustable. Trust and credibility are major issues on the web, readers on the Web are skeptical. Protect privacy and respect copyright, if it's necessary prove the verity of your information with links.
3) Use constant writing style. Decide on a style and use it consistently throughout your site. For example, you can use "The Web Content Style Guide"
4) For product or service pages: use common, easy terms, without unnecessary words. Don't use jargon or made-up words. Allow people to enlarge photos. Don't use unrelated or purely visual graphics or photos.
Hope,it will be useful for you=)
