Please share your favorite tutorials for the web design beginners?

Don't have favorite tutorials because if you want to become a web designer, you will need to learn more things like CSS, HTML, PHP, MYSQL..etc
Beginners used to go w3schools for first tutorials and have a look how to use html, css, php,...how to design a simple web templates.
I learned from more sources like forums, vidoe courses, ebooks..so I would suggest you try the same as I did.
Besides, you need to make real web projects to have real experience on web design field.
If you want to stop at beginners level, go wordpress cms, it will help you design websites fast without more knowledge about programming...

There are some paid courses that are available on Lynda. and Udemy.

However, you can find free courses on W3Schools and CodeAcademy that will help you with the basics of Web Design.

Good on you if you've got the motivation to get out there and learn website design. I've been involved with the internet as a webmaster now for 14 years, yet I was never able to get a grip on the design aspects of things. I excelled more with the backend stuff (PHP, MySQL, Server Administration, Networking, Etc) and could never find enough time to look into that field. I wish you the best of luck!
