what is the button for? to buy something? to sign up for something? what do you mean by Large? I would recommend you research what most people are using and go with it. You can always split test the two pages with different size buttons.

Its hard to say without testing it. Sometimes the viewer gets annoyed with to big of a button thinking you are just trying to sell to them. Also the color is important. I personally use JVzoo for my websites and I use the medium size button.

Colorful buttons may add charm to a website, it's important to help site visitors view and navigate it efficiently and quickly. One way to keep a Web page from appearing cluttered is to add buttons that are not unusually large unless you want to draw attention to them. However, that doesnt mean you must always use small buttons when creating websites.

For me I tend to adopt one MWR (most wanted reaction) per page.... Which could be a "Buy Now" button, sign up to newsletter, social share etc....

Adding more than one can cause confusion of cluttering of a page.... Hence my preference is to keep it simple if I can with regards to layout, use of images, clear large fonts and buttons! Buttons are perfect for directing users to implement a MWR - and further use of big buttons can also help - provided that is looks good on the page and is not an eye sore!

That said you should also split test your pages with various changes e.g. does adding a big red button increase the desired conversions etc.... Keep split testing and eventually you will maximize your MWR's ... Read up on CRO (conversion rate optimization) - there are lots of stuff online regarding that...

try to search about uses of buttons on website depending on it needs and size. buttons can be large, medium or small it depends on how to use them depend on location on site. try search on google about this and get some pointers from articles and blogs

I agree with edsonbuchanan. you should split test to see what works best and use the most effective based on your purpose and your site design.

The button size depends on the way it is used. Too large a button can irritate a customer sometimes as they might not find it visually appealing. The position you're placing the button should be considered to know what size you should be using.
