Is it worth $299 for Yahoo directory submission?

Hello, I have a question that I think i must ask easier. my question is, it is worth $299 for Yahoo directory submission or not?
and if we buy a link from yahoo directory, our website rankings can be improved on search engines?
Please give me honest answers...

Maybe you should try it out and let us know if it was worth it or not

But I think it will be worth it because unlike other directories that are flooded with spam links that one should definitely be clean and have a few quality websites. Can you please share the link of the directory so that I can check it's power?

I can't find it, when I google yahoo directory it takes me to bing webmaster tool.

Yahoo directory used to be located at: [URLnf=]http://dir.yahoo.com[/URLnf] - however it redirects to yahoo small business... It looks very similar to the old one...

As I understood it was closed down recently as per [URLnf="http://searchengineland.com/yahoo-directory-closes-211784"]this article[/URLnf] - but having looked at, it seems fine with listings in place, albeit there is much less...

In addition it looks like Yahoo are expanding it with helping to create websites and selling online focused towards local/small businesses.... If you click on the icon it takes you to: [URLnf=https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/]https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/[/URLnf] ... Looks interesting and certainly new to me ;-)

Yep looks like it's mainly focused on local businesses and they submit your site to over 50 directories so I believe it will be effective breadmont but don't use it if you want global rankings. Maybe it will work for global rankings but I doubt, this is designed for local rankings.
