Hi guys, Can I edit php.ini file on my shared or VPS hosting?
I'm doubting it's impossible on shared hosing, even I can contact my hosting provider?

It's often possible on shared hosting as well. The process is usually just to create a php.ini in the root folder of your hosting account. A lot of providers will allow this.
As for whether or not you can on VPS - yes, you can. VPS's are separate environments, and your PHP installation will be just that - your PHP installation. It will run separately from the rest of the environments on that server.

It really depends on the hosting company but with most of them you can edit the php.ini file. I guess you want to increase the upload file size limit. If you're on hostgator then you might want to switch to a different host because their limit for shared hosting is 64MB.

So your question depends on what hosting company you're using.
