I have more experience in blogging since years, my experience showed that more people failed in blogging because of the reasons bellow....
1. Choosing wrong niche
2. Lacking of research
3. Lacking of continuous process
My personal advice: Keep on blogging, you will be the winner.

What is your advice?

Yes indeed agree with that.. I also think some people just do not have the commitment necessary to make it work... The patience and hard work needed... Most people want an overnight solution and after spending months on it, simply give up - either through procrastination or the feeling of "information overload" (overwhelmed) due to so many moving parts from SEO, content marketing, technical, graphics, product development, social networking, ad platforms etc etc....

Yes when you have picked the wrong niche, it is setting yourself up for failure. You have to know what you are talking about to make it succeed.

Patience is key. Your blog's not gonna be amazing overnight. And this applies to not only blogs, but basically everything else in life as well.

It is like forums, if you pick a niche that you do not know too much about then you are not going to be able to generate content and that will lead to it not doing too well. Also, if you get impatient and give up, that can also be an issue. It does take a lot of work to be successfull, but you need to do it right :)
