Please share your honest answers.

I would say video for sure! However it does depend on the quality of video... If the recording, audio and message within your video is of low quality then it will do the opposite and put people off... In addition if the video is too long that will also bore people, so I also recommend that you get straight to the point... I would use the video in a way that complements the written text on the opt-in page with providing more details with filling in some gaps and highlighting the benefits and finally encouraging people to signup...

I've tested this and the squeeze page that have no video or fake video worked better for my niche. Anyway, most people use mobile these days so I guess that's why the one without video is converting well for me.

So if you're buying PPC traffic, obviously you'll disable mobile traffic so using a squeeze page with video is not an issue. If it's free traffic which you can't control whether they are on mobile or desktop, then use a squeeze page with no video.

But the most important thing is to split test and see what will work best for your offer or niche. Because if the traffic is from tier 1 countries (US, Canada, Australia, UK etc) then using video is not a problem.

However, most people from tier 2 and tier 3 countries rely on data-bundles and they don't watch a video online so that they can save their data-bundles. That's the number 1 reason I don't do advertising to people in my country because I know there's only a few people like me who use uncapped internet access.

So there's a lot of factors you have to look at before deciding whether to use video on a landing page or not. It's not all about what's working best for someone else, do a lot of split testing.

In some cases a video squeeze page has converted better for me, then a squeeze page without video and vice versa..It has all depended on what I was advertising and where..Solo ads, and funnel clicks I have bought, the non video squeeze pages have always had much better conversion.

Now in my blogs, safelist, list builders and traffic exchanges, a short video squeeze page has done way better..So for me all has depended upon where I am advertising..
