What is the fastest way to monetize your YouTube channel?

I am starting up a channel on YouTube for Workout and Fitness music playlists and I'm looking for the fastest way to monetize this channel and begin making money. Any suggestions or tips for beginners would be greatly appreciated!

You need engaging content to attract viewers and eventually reach the 1000 subscribers and viewing hours you need to be offered a share of the ad revenue.

Would it be your own music or a playlist of popular songs?

If you are going to use popular songs and make a playlist of them, what about copyright? And let's assume that you are using copyright-free music, but does YouTube allow you to monetize such channels?

There are websites that allow you to use their music to create your own videos and those can be monetized, so it should be ok as long as the person is careful in not using restricted use music.

All I know is you got to reach a specific number of likes and views to do that! So try getting traffic first by posting nice videos
