How to be a legit reseller?

Hey Guys! I am looking for ways to earn money online besides my full time job and I think that reselling legit products will be good for me. I would like to start very little but I don't know how to start with this.

How are you going to market it?

You can make a nice income reselling a product online, but like everything else, you have to have a plan. How are you going to do it, what will make people but it from you rather then someone else, what expenses will you have, how long can you support it before making a profit.

Answer these questions, find quality products to resell, have a solid plan, and you will go far!

Do you want to actually resell, or act as an affiliate? As an affiliate, you just promote the product, they sell it and you just take a commission. That one is easy, just sign up at a network. If you want to resell, that is actually harder and if you want to private label it, takes even longer.

E-Books and online courses could be combined into one brand, whilst website themes should be separate from that brand.
You're doing the right thing by reading up on SEO first of all. Once you have a better grasp of that, start plotting a business model and plan, and act based on that.

You're going to need a few essential things in order to become a serious reseller who is also taken seriously by suppliers.

1.) Selling platform - eBay, Amazon, Niche Site, etc. (Preferably with proof of sales history)

2.) POSITIVE SELLER RATINGS/REVIEWS

* Protect your brand's dignity, identity, and reputation at all times! Value your customers to earn their positive feedback which will fuel your reliability, trust, and ultimately, sales/revenue.

3.) Profit Margin Research

* Only sell items worth selling based on high-profit margins after PayPal fees, shipping costs, drop shipping fees, tarrifs, etc.

4.) Federal EIN Number

* Most quality suppliers will require this verification from you in order to know that you are a legitimate business in order to comfortably sell you products at wholesale prices legally.
