How to make video course?

I am looking to make an udemy course. What is the best software to create tutorial videos that better than Camtmasia?

Hi Ken,

Camtasia is actually a very good screen capture software. I use it on my PC and record my video courses with it. I also have a Mac and I use Screenflow to record videos on it.

What is it that you don't like about Camtasia?

Used Camtasia for many years, Fred is right it's a great piece of software. Though there is a learning curve. Sure haven't become an expert on it myself.

If it's a course, wouldn't something like Power Point be a better option. Make your course slides than turn it into a video no? Am I missing something? And PP is pretty easy to use.

Or, create the slides in power point and go through on video, say with camtasia?
