It depends on the number of backlinks, the authority of the site linking to you, and the amount of fresh content the site delivers.
The last factor decides how often the content gets crawled by Google.

I hope this helps!

There is no right answer to that question.

Like everything else in SEO, you would need to experiment. :)

How Long Does It Take for Backlinks to Get Indexed? It can take as little as 4 days and up to 6 months for backlinks to get indexed. Search engine crawlers work at different speeds for every website and each site has its own crawl rate and crawl budget which determines how fast backlinks get indexed.

It takes a few days for a new link to get indexed.
The results indicate that a single backlink takes an average of 10 weeks to push a page a rank higher on Google. If you're fortunate enough to gain several links at once, you have a higher chance of outranking other pages at an exponential rate.

The backlinks you get from other sites might not increase your DR as soon as the links go live.

Google is a huge search engine requiring to crawl a great database. So, whenever search crawlers of Google will get to your backlink earned, the crawlers will provide Google algorithms that the site is more authoritative and you might start getting results.

Usually, it could take 3-4 weeks or more depending on a number of factors.

Varies between backlinks but the higher the authority of the page the quicker it'll take effect. Also the age of your site makes a big different too, new sites take longer for backlinks to take effect.

There are some factors to consider when answering your question, for example:

  • What kind of link
  • The relevance to the niche you are attempting to target
  • The “newness” of your site
  • Whether you already have a site with links from high DA sites

On average, it can take anywhere up to 10 weeks to see backlinks increase a page ranking.

It usually takes a few months, but every project is different. What results are you hoping to see? Increased PR? or increased rankings? I only ever care about rankings, and I never sit and wait to see results from backlinks. I make content and optimize 100%, always moving on to other topics and related keyword phrases for traffic. I've managed to get my way and rank for high-traffic keywords many times without having a high DA rating.

Building backlinks is great, but don't get caught up in waiting for results -- keep grinding!

I have found it takes 2-4 months for most backlinks to show up.
