Google EMD Update, What is it ?

please explain for me what is Google EMD Update ? and how will effect to my site if I don't follow its rules ?
It will be obvious if you show me some examples in detail

EMD is Exact Match Domain similarly PMD is Partially Match Domain. Google says the Website URL and Anchor Text should not be same.

For example:

www.reebok.com - PMD

www.reeboksneakers.com - EMD
