Can backlinks and DA/PA improve website traffic?

I’m curious if the number of backlinks and Domain Authority (DA) / Page Authority (PA) really impact website traffic. Has anyone had any experience or insights on this?

Will it? Maybe...

It's not a guarantee of anything, as it's your website CONTENT that matters these days. A couple of good quality, relevant backlinks can help, but too many and you'll do more harm than good.

So, focus on your content first and adding to your site, rather than all that other stuff that comes later anyway.
