Hello guys,

I started a website with articles and started writing informational and transactional blogs (with links to the products on Amazon). I already spent a lot of money and time on this and I realized that maybe I only need to focus on reviewing blogs and focus online websites on that.

I earned a few USD so far, Ordered Revenue is about $300. I have a 10.17% Conversion Rate (I had 118 clicks in the last three months, and 30% of these clicks are from me) - which means I have a higher Conversion Rate.

I want to delete all blogs except transactional ones and I want to be consistent in the next few months to try start earn $500 a month.

I didn't work on backlinks, because I don't have too much experience and I'm looking to buy some backlinks database.

I'm planning to write reviews for all supplements, and also I have an account on the Awin platform which means I will have more content to work on.

Any help and opinion on this would be appreciated. What is your opinion on this and what would you do?

Where is your traffic coming from? If you have a high CTR then you already have a good traffic source, you just need more of it.

Some backlinks are helpful, but not many and not 100% needed if you have a good source already utilizing social media. Just make sure it's relevant.

Set clear steps toward a clear goal and just keep pushing forward!

You're off to a great start with a high conversion rate—well done! Focusing on transactional blogs and reviews could be a smart move for targeting buyers. For backlinks, consider creating high-quality, shareable content instead of buying databases—it’s more sustainable and safer for SEO. Also, explore niche-specific forums or social platforms to share your reviews. Consistency will definitely help in reaching your $500/month goal. Good luck!

Hey Amoxinjo

You're off to a great start. Based on your results provided here is what you can do.

1) Traffic Strategy: Since you're targeting the USA market, focus on driving organic traffic through SEO, especially for your review blogs.

2)Backlinking: While backlinks aren't 100% necessary, they can definitely boost your site's authority. Instead of buying a backlinks database, try Guest blogging.

3)Conversion Tracking: Since 30% of your clicks are your own, it's skewing your data. Use a dedicated tracking system like Google Analytics to filter out your activity
Stay consistent, track your progress, and keep iterating based on what works the best for you! Shall you be needing any professional help feel free to reach us out

I'm fairly new to blogging, but I agree about the social media, especially if the products on Amazon are visually appealing or can be demonstrated on video; especially as you can probably generate free using AI.
If your articles show buyers how to get the best out of the products or demonstrate other uses or clever, even funny, ideas then lots of visuals and video would be a great idea

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to earn passive income, but building a successful website requires a solid strategy. First, ensure your site is user-friendly and mobile-responsive. Focus on providing valuable, niche-specific content that engages your target audience. It’s crucial to promote high-quality products that align with your audience’s interests. Additionally, optimizing for SEO will help increase traffic to your site. Lastly, building trust with your visitors through clear disclosures and honest reviews will lead to better conversions. Feel free to ask for more specific advice as you progress!

Thank you very much, I wanted to ask if it is better to focus on strong keywords and heavy keywords for example: Premium Protein Review, and then add secondary keywords there for example: banana flavor protein and similar or to make a separate blog for banana flavor protein, and then for example for halal protein powder. What do you think?

Creating separate posts for each secondary keyword works best and then cross link them. Think of each post as a tentacle to grab the attention of Google...the more, the better :)

I'm trying to work that out for my own blogs, so can I clarify how to do it, please?
Would you have Premium Protein Review as the 'cornerstone' content then in banana flavor protein post a link saying, for example, "for a review of the product that works best, read this post [link]"?
you mentioned separate blog for banana flavor protein, but did you mean seperate post within the same blog? e.g. internal links, thanks
