A few years ago I would have told you to focus on SEO for long term success, but I wouldn't bother with Google, now that it's so anti-affiliate site and usually only returns results from really large social websites.

Therefore, the best strategy now is social engagement. Post on social sites, yes, but also see which ones rank in Google for your keywords and post on those specific pages. That works well on Quora and Reddit.

Always remember that it's a long term game. Good luck!

Improving your affiliate marketing website involves optimizing SEO, content quality, and user experience. Focus on high-value content, such as in-depth reviews and comparison articles, to build trust. Implement fast-loading pages, mobile responsiveness, and clear CTAs for better conversions. Use email marketing, social media, and PPC campaigns to drive traffic. Regularly analyze performance with Google Analytics and A/B testing. Choose high-converting affiliate programs and strategically place links without overwhelming users. Building authority through backlinks, authenticity, and audience engagement ensures long-term success. Stay updated with trends to maximize affiliate revenue and website growth.

Thanks for your insights! I agree that Google’s algorithm changes have made it tougher for affiliate sites, but I still believe SEO has its place—especially when combined with strong content and authority-building. Social engagement is definitely a great way to drive traffic, and leveraging platforms like Quora and Reddit that already rank well makes sense.

For long-term success, I’m focusing on a mix of SEO, high-quality content, social engagement, and strategic backlinks. It’s all about diversifying traffic sources to reduce reliance on any single platform.
