I've heard that Google is going to shut down the consumer version of Google+ in the next 10 months, because 90% of the Google+ users currently have session less than five seconds.

Yes. Google Plus will be shutting down soon. It had potential but for some reason people just weren't as interested in it as Facebook and Twitter and other platforms.

It's still there, but google+ is slowly being sunset.

I used it when the service launched. Yes, sir. I've been part of Google+ since day one. I worked for a while until google+ got controversy for privacy concerns.
