Search engine optimization is about running content campaigns that aim to improve your overall rank on search engines. PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it’s a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to earn those visits organically. The first is that paid ads appear at the top of the page, above the organic listings influenced by SEO. The second is that traffic from organic via SEO is free, whereas traffic from PPC has a cost for each click.

Search engine optimization is the process through which you can increase the PR and traffic. On other hand PPC or pay per click is the way to show your advertisement and you will get the traffic. PPC depends on the companies who are willing to pay the price. In both cases (for SEO and for PPC) companies need to pay. So my question is that, what is the difference between PPC and SEO. Which one is most important?
SEO’s purpose is to drive visitors to your site organically, by interest. PPC, on the contrary, is a paid promotion. You design your advertising message and pay for each click that is made on that ad, which leads to your landing page.

Hello,

PPC means Pay per Click.
It is the procedure for purchasing ads on search-able sites with the objective of gaining traffic to your own site. The pay per click refers to how an advertiser is only charged when someone clicks on the adverts.

SEO means Search Engine Optimization.
Search engine optimization is the only means to go for marketing.SEO marketing entails optimizing writing and code relevant content on a website to increase its placing on a search engine without paying for an advertising area.

There not even close to being the same. PPC is a type of affiliate payment called "Pay Per Click". You host links and get paid per each click. SEO is Search Engine Optimization and is a practice of evaluation and action to make websites indexed as accurately as possible for search engines.

Both SEO and PPC are part of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
But the main difference between Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) is that traffic coming from SEO (organic) is free while traffic generated from PPC is not free (as the name implies you have to pay a cost per click).

SEO:
1. You can get first page positions if your web site is optimized for search engines.
2. Cost of SEO is indirect. You cannot pay to get to the first page but you may have to pay for SEO services if you cannot do SEO yourself.
3. Organic traffic is continuous as long as you are ranking in one of the top positions.
4. SEO traffic is better than other forms of traffic (i.e. social media) but in terms of conversion is not as good as PPC traffic.

PPC:
1. You can get your ad on the first page by paying a higher cost per click (CPC).
2. You pay only when people click on your ad. You can use the Google keyword tool to calculate how much you can pay.
3. PPC ads can get more clicks but this means that you pay more.
4. Highly optimized keywords will generate more conversions but will cost more.

Its Google. PPC is for paying to get customers. SEO is organic traffic from Google. If your blog seems like a ghost town, no traffic, no visitors, no fans and followers, then Paid traffic is a fast way to see traffic. SEO is a long journey. One needs to write evergreen content, guest post, optimize the web blog posts for the right keywords and start to see traffic.

So You need to do Both. Free and paid traffic to Grow your Business online.

If we want more traffic and willing to pay for it, then PPC is right for us.
But if we're working on low budget, it may make more sense to invest time in chasing high ranking through SEO.

PPC: pay per click : you are paying to get visitors on your website for a specific keyword being searched by the user.
SEO: Search Engine Optimization: Organic way of bringing traffic to your website and it doesn't give results in the beginning but later on, it will give a much traffic than ppc..
