What would you define a success. This is one topic that is subjective. In other words, what you would think a success is different from each person. Most people would say having lots of money. But drug dealers and crooked politicians and the like have lots of money. They always have lots of money, because they base their success on how much money they have.

I would think that the most successful person is that person who can influence other people in a positive way. Although they normally have lots of money also, but to them, that’s not the important issue. Success doesn't come easy. It’s going to take shear guts, determination and Patience.

And that is what people will see and notice about you, and they would be attracted by your success. They will want to use you as an example and ask you for advice. Then, they will want to emulate your success. And that is real success. Having lots of money isn't success, it’s raw greediness and selfishness. But it also depends on your attitude towards money. You can be rich and be a success. But you can also be not so rich and be a huge success. And I think influencing others in a positive way is much more of a success.

Yep I agree, When you work from the principle of: "The more you give, the more you get" then you can use it in Internet Marketing as well.
For instance, Emailing your list with the right balance between giving great value and selling products is more successful than just sending sales emails.
I would say 75% useful content and 25% OTO emails will do the trick

Using your drug dealer example, Walter White from Breaking Bad (Possible Spoiler) initially was drawn by the money. Despite making more than he needed, he continued with the drug business. The reason was because his idea of success changed from having tons of money, to being "The best in the business" so he kept going. Tony Montana from Scarface, was a similar story. Started off being about money, then it became about being the best. I think we as humans once we become successful at something we then want to go on and be the best at it.

I know a fair number of people that have had material success, yet are among the unhappiest people I have ever met. Most have sacrificed their relationships with friends and family to achieve what they have.

I know of one person who recently sold his business for an eight figure sum only to receive a divorce summons almost in return.
He has discovered that his wife had been having an affair for over 15 years and his three children, all now adults are siding with mum.
Ungrateful is currently his favourite word. I have never seen anyone so unhappy yet the choice he made is the common one for people in a corporate environment.

That is what is so valuable about an online business. You can with a bit of hard work create an income on par or surpassing the majority of people yet you can do it without sacrificing time with your family and loved ones. If you want my definition of success it is being free from want and having time to spend with the people you love and who love you.

If you have that then you are truly blessed.
