SEO is not really free because it costs you your time. Its either time or money. I would use both methods but more so paid traffic time is something you can't get back.

What has been your experience? Is SEO really FREE and cheaper than Adwords or other advertising methods?
If you are going to do this by yourself, then it's definitely cheaper. Yet you have to be very familiar with the process in order to benefit from this method. But, if you intend on hiring someone to do the SEO work for you, then I would have to say that Adwords would be cheaper if this is the case since hiring someone means you have to pay for their service. And as far as I know, their rates nowadays are quite expensive...:)

Like most people here, I wouldn't really peg the two together, as they aren't mutually exclusive.
Whilst the brunt of your time & effort might go into SEO (unless you pay someone to do it for you), financially speaking Adwords is going to be the most costly (dependent on the scale & nature of your business).
Don't think of them as separate entities though. Both channels are, by far and away, your best business building solution. Don't make the mistake of neglecting one whilst prioritising the other.

For result in SEO, you need to wait and spend regular monthly basis if you hire any agency/freelancer. It's a long term investment where you achieve authority through backlinks or whatever...

Adwords, it a short term you can test how much ROI with Adwords you got. Expensiveness - it depends upon your niche, location. As you will achieve target user through AdWords in a quick time so maybe you will get good ROI without waiting.

Yes, Adwords is expensive but I know many businesses who rise with AdWords and then later started SEO.

Yup, if you are willing to learn about SEO, it will be cheaper than using AdWords. But SEO is for long term traffic, it won't give results as instant as Google AdWords. It depends how you would like to develop your website... :)

If you want to perform SEO techniques for your website all by yourself, without hiring SEO specialist then obviously it is cheaper that Adwords.
But, both Adwords and SEO are two different techniques and separate objectives to choose. Generally, SEO helps in improving the website ranking and increase traffic. Whereas, Adowrds help in create various types of paid campaigns to get lead generation and conversion.

Thanks and regards

SEO is cheaper then AdWords. If you have good knowledge of SEO and have much time then you can do SEO by yourself and it will not cost any money. But if you don't have time and also don't have good knowledge about then you will need to hire SEO experts & you will need money for this. But its still cheaper then AdWords.

When masters use Google Adwords, they want to make sales. Of course, the keywords are high competition keywords. It is difficult for SEO. So, Google Adwords drive traffic to sites more effective and fast than SEO in short time. So, Google Adwords is more expensive than SEO in short time. If masters doesn't do SEO, only use Google Adwords, the cost is very huge. Masters have to run Google Adwords month to month, year to year. So, SEO is also cheaper than Google Adwords in long time.
(I think that if we compare Google Adwords and SEO, It means method 1 only use Google Adwords, Method 2 only use SEO. But in fact, we use both of them)

Adwords are cost-effective compared to SEO.If you are trying to experiment with a few keywords or are just looking for some short term visibility and traffic, AdWords is the apt solution.

tbh seo is very profitable when done correctly same with adwords, but the difference between the two really boils down to "time vs money" as adwords can get you fast reults and traffic at the click of a few buttons BUT it comes with a price on every visitor(s) that comes to your website, where as seo on the other hand can get you alot of visitors all free "if" your doing the seo yourself and you manage to rank for your keywords "BUT" it takes time(unless using BH practices and even then it can still take time)...

I always recommend using a mix of both seo&paid advertising as its good not to keep all your eggs in one basket :)

Well have to say that its not gonna be cheaper, you can spend a lot of time doing SEO without paying anything but the result may get bad if you don't know the keyword you have chosen is good or no, wasting time is somewhat worse and to be honest spend months to get nothing is a kind of money wasting too.

AdWords in a long run is much cheaper as it is a sustainable source of traffic, after tweaking it, you may easily achieve profitable source of traffic without hassle.

SEO is not sustainable, therefore shouldn't be used as only part of your marketing strategy. It could be complementary, but definitely not something you want to use in long run. You can go from 2k$ per day to 0$ per day in just one day.

If you are new to Adwords, its easy to blow right through your ad budget rather quickly.
But once you do some testing and get the hang of what works, Adwords will actually
reward you with a lower cpc.

SEO takes a lot longer to see it work, but in the end, it will always be cheaper because
there's no ad budget if you're doing it yourself. Plus, sending someone to your website
will warm them up to your offer and if they opt-in, this is a higher quality lead than
one you get from a short ad.

Now days I see SEO is more costly than PPC why ? Today its very hard to get keyword ranking on SERP because many of the competitor doing SEO activity for long time ago. then they get SERP ranking more priority than you. And PPC is a advertising activity that you can use at any time.

SEO is free but AdWords is paid. You can do SEO in free for your site and can get lot of traffic and can make money with adwords.

SEO is cheaper in long term but will cost you a lot of time, that you can spend on other marketing channels. Adwords can give you quick results but costs money. However, if you deactivate your Google Ads or run out of budget, your Ads will disappear. On the other hand, you rank well for a few keywords, those pages will continue to drive traffic for years, without any extra efforts.

So to get short term traffic quickly, Adwords is better. But to get long term traffic again and again, SEO is better.

Seo is cheaper than Adwords or any other paid program. Adwords in for getting instant results in terms of impression, clicks and lead generation but seo gives organic and optimised web traffic after a lot of work to improve ranking and search traffic. It may provide result without getting first page ranking.
